Coffee Hour
Coffee hour is part of our ministry to each other and to visitors. One way to carry out this ministry is to participate in coffee hour and make new (or old!) connections with other members of the parish. Another way to help is to sign up to host coffee hour for our parish after Sunday service. We will provide directions and suggestions to host coffee hour. Most people prepare or buy baked goods that go well with coffee and tea to share with our congregation.
Fabricators & Yarners
What began in 2016 as a lesson in lap quilting, turned into weekly meetings of learning to quilt, crochet, and knit. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the group has resumed its weekly gatherings in the Begley Hall.
The fabricators and yarners have made lap quilts for the VA Hospital in Albany, quilts for Habitat for Humanity families needing blankets, stoles for our former Rector and Deacon, and quilts to raffle and raise funds for other projects.
This group also made a History Quilt for St. Stephen’s and presented it to the parish on its 75th Anniversary.
St. Stephen’s Book Club
The book club meets monthly to discuss a wide variety of books. See the latest Messenger for up-to-date and book selection information. All are welcome!
